Who doesn’t like pizza? I don’t know anyone who doesn’t. Pizzas are divine; an ultimate food for celebratory occasions or for the days you don’t wish to cook a regular meal. Making pizzas at home from scratch needs some preparation; making the pizza dough, the pizza sauce, preparing the toppings, assembling the pizza, and finally baking it.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could occasionally take a shortcut? Using store-bought pizza sauce is one option. Replacing the pizza dough with a ready-made pizza base is another. I like to use tortilla or naan bread too. In this pizza recipe, I have used bread slices for the base. Making bread pizza recipe at home is very easy and takes less than 20 minutes. If you are looking for recipes using leftover bread slices, bread pizza fits the bill perfectly.

You can bake the bread pizza in the oven at 200 degrees C for 7-8 minutes or until the bread turns crisp and the cheese melts. You can make bread pizza on tawa as well like an open-faced sandwich. Do cover the tawa with a lid. I have baked this bread pizza in the pan that works like an oven. The step by step pictures has for more details of the baking arrangement.

Here’s a selection of some of the best pizza recipes that you would come across over the internet.

Now let’s take a look at the bread pizza ingredients and preparation. Please note that I haven’t mentioned the quantities of the ingredients. The recipe involves simple assembly and you may use the pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings in amounts according to your own liking.
